Bookkeeper

- Salary up to £26,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper ideally with knowledge of Xero, a positive attitude and good communication skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure purchase orders are used and accurately project costed
- Creating accounts for new customers in Xero.
- Input all purchase and sales invoices
- Allocate purchase and sales ledger cash
- Prepare sale invoices
- Complete the bank reconciliation
- Payroll using Xero
- Dealing with sales and purchase ledger queries in an effective and timely manner.
- Maintaining confidentiality of the business finances in a small team
What you will need:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly organised, detail driven and effective user and improver of processes
- Excellent working knowledge of Xero
- Experience of using Xero Purchase Orders to provide Project Costing
- Demonstrable experience in invoice finance and mechanics of day to day management of the system
