Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire 3x Accommodation Maintenance Technician to join one our clients on a permanent basis in Bristol.
The company:
A leading national building contractor who has the maintenance contract on the University of the West of England (UWE).
The role entails:
To ensure the efficient upkeep and repair of student accommodation facilities, both internally and externally, by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This involves carrying out pre-planned and reactive repairs, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that buildings and their systems remain in optimal condition. The role also focuses on delivering high-quality maintenance services to clients, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining the integrity of the accommodations.
Job role:
Maintenance of wide range of skills including: Joinery, tiling, drainage, flooring, plastering and minor roof repairs
Working on both pre-planned and reactive repairs
Solving technical issues and working closely with stakeholders
What are we looking for?
Communication Skills: Adaptable, able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Good at planning and organising
Someone who is good at problem solving and decision-making.
