Accounts Assistant

My client are seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounts assistant to join their expanding office. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Making regular rent payments to landlords and reconciling accounts
- Recording financial transactions for sales, purchases, bank, cash, and wages
- Creating financial reports to show business income and expenditures
- Processing vendor invoices and monitoring bank balances
- Filing VAT returns
- Checking the accuracy of financial records and reporting any discrepancies to the Accountant/Directors
- Producing monthly financial statements such as cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
- Calculating employee wages
- Overseeing employee expense claims
- Providing administrative support to the Accountant and assisting with yearly accounting processes
What you will need:
- Relevant accounting experience
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple accounting tasks
- Proficiency in using computer software like Microsoft Office
- Strong team player with effective communication skills
- The capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage their workload independently
- A detail-oriented approach to financial transactions, including daily receipts and payments
- A professional demean or and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion in the accountancy role.
- The candidate will need to be able to speak Punjabi and English
