Accounts Assistant

- Salary up to £27,000 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and tracking incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts
- Credit Control via phone & email
- Communicate with clients regarding billing discrepancies and questions
- Engage management over any Accounts Receivable problems you encounter
- Initiate collections on past-due accounts
- Maintain accounting ledgers as required
- Assist with customer and vendor set up following policy set
- Customer Credit Checks
- Process/send invoices daily as required
- Provide regular reports on the status of overdue accounts
- Carry out any such other duties from time to time required by the Company.
What you will need:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Take ownership of specific accounts and understand how they work
- Must be able to work as part of a team and contribute to departmental goals and objectives
- Should be adaptable and flexible enough to assist in all areas of the department as and when required

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
