Ivy Resource Group is seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a reputable new build housing developer in Cheltenham. This is a permanent position offering up to £53,000 plus car allowance, ideal for someone with residential site experience who is eager to progress their career within the housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day delivery of new build housing projects
Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and materials to ensure smooth site operations
Support the programme to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation
Oversee quality control and assist in delivering high-spec homes ready for handover
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential new build housing
Solid understanding of build programmes, Health & Safety, and quality standards
SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (preferred)
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence required
Ambitious and keen to progress to Site Manager level
