Construction Operative

- Starting salary of £30,000 per annum
This role is to support and deliver the construction of test samples within the Fire Testing and Experimental Unit
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and construct test samples
- Build block work walls for test samples
- Studding and framing sample rigs
- Maintain workshop and construction areas
- Support LCO with clear communication on progress
- Liaise with onsite contractors during external sample builds
- Report any H&S breach through the correct channels
- Interpreting Technical drawings and formulating a construction plan
What you will need:
- Experience working on a construction site
- Brick laying
- Reading technical Drawings
- Computer literate
