Position: Part-Time KS3 Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Contract: Immediate Start until July 2025
Location: Thornbury
Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves teaching KS3 students and will run from an immediate start until July 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and developing students' skills in design and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective DT lessons to KS3 students.
- Plan, prepare, and mark coursework and assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
- Encourage students' creativity and practical skills through hands-on projects and activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Design Technology at the KS3 level.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to student development and well-being.
