Graduate Civil Engineer

This role focuses on projects such as developing parks, remediating contaminated sites, and restoring quarries. Our client handles projects from inception to construction, serving clients from the public and private sectors.
About the Role:
You will play a vital role in managing complex projects. You'll oversee various tasks related to construction, earthworks, drainage installation, and more. With the opportunity to work on diverse projects, you'll contribute to the creation of green open spaces and environmental improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage earthworks construction, drainage installation, and materials recovery
- Oversee the import and placement of materials on-site
- Handle soil sampling and leachate testing for contamination management
- Prepare as-built drawings and documents for planning conditions and recovery permits
- Assist with the design and management of specialist sub-consultants
The Ideal Candidate:
Are you a motivated self-starter with a passion for civil engineering?
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (with knowledge of geotechnics, hydrology, and hydrogeology)
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills
- Possesses experience with software packages like Autocad and Trimble Business Centre
- Ideally, has previous construction site experience (not essential)
- Holds a full driving license and has the right to work in the UK
