Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Groundworks Site Manager to join one our clients on a temporary basis in Bilton, Hull.

The company:

Our client are a regional Groundworks contractor who predominately work in the new build housing sector.

The role entails:

Our client require the SM to have previously worked in a civils environment. The SM would need to be able to call off material / oversee works programs / ordering materials / raise any TQ's if required/ keep record of plant and labour/ daily briefs ,HSE requirements and liaise with the Client site manager.

The SM will need to have a driving license and a vehicle as the schemes that he will need to oversee are not all in one place - the whole site is within 1 mile of the site Offices in Bilton .The SM will be required to go and oversee the works regularly throughout the day and keep a daily diary. The SM is to have a min CSCS and a SMSTS/ SSSTS qualification.

Works will continue until around October on these schemes.

Essential requirements:

Driving licence and own transport, SMSTS or SSSTS with a CSCS Card - minimum of 5 years as a Site Manager in Groundworks

What are we looking for?

A strong background as a Site Manager in the Groundworks sector looking to progress

Strong IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proactive with the ability to work and manage time effectively

Relevant qualifications - SMSTS/SSSTS & CSCS
