Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Kingswood, South Gloucestershire
Start Date: September 2024
Role Overview: As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers and supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with individuals and small groups, providing targeted interventions and promoting a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Supporting students with additional needs, including those with special educational requirements.
- Assisting in the planning and preparation of resources.
- Providing feedback to teachers on student progress.
- Contributing to the overall well-being and positive behaviour of students.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
