Position: Full-Time History Teacher
Location: Cheltenham
Start Date: January 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to support a Cheltenham based secondary school. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a temporary basis, inspiring students to develop a love of history and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure progress for all learners.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in history and a passion for teaching.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
