Job Description: The HLTA will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of Year 2 students. Responsibilities include covering classes and managing classroom behaviour effectively. While an HLTA qualification is not required, strong experience within primary schools is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covering classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Supporting the educational and social development of Year 2 students.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to deliver high-quality education.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within primary schools, particularly with Year 2 students.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to step in and cover classes effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
