Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Mechanical Contracts Manager for one of the leading M&E contractors in the region, to join their company on a permanent basis in Gloucester.
The company:
Our client offers M&E installation, maintenance and design services in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. They operate across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors and are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to accomodate their growth plans.
The role entails:
Managing various different sectors including commercial, education, residential, healthcare and industrial.
Management of Project / Site Managers and associated site teams
Development and monitoring of construction programmes
Key point of contact for client teams and stakeholders
What are we looking for?
Experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with proven experience of managing contracts upto a value of £1M.
Must be able to understand and read through specifications and drawings provided.
Thorough and efficient supplier and subcontractor knowledge
Understanding of associated electrical services
Flexible and dedicated in approach to deadlines with both tenders and project completion dates.
Computer literate with experience of Estimation software Issuing/updating tender documents via an electronic control system
Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment
Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with Company policies
Working in an integrated team
Benefits & Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000 + Car allowance of £350 per month
