Job Advert: Mechanics Teacher - SEMH School (Full-Time)
Are you a skilled Mechanics Teacher passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated educator to join an SEMH School full-time, delivering engaging hands-on lessons in a fully equipped workshop classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mechanics and motor vehicle maintenance in a practical, interactive environment.
- Support students with SEMH needs, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles.
- Create a positive and structured learning atmosphere within the workshop classroom.
- Encourage students to develop technical skills, confidence, and independence.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure the wellbeing and progress of all learners.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/training experience in mechanics.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs or a willingness to develop skills in this area.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for vocational education and real-world learning.
