Facilities Manager

This is an opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to work in a key site management post that supports with the day to day operation of building and facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Premises Team to complete the day to day operation for the building and facilities.
- Managing all the site team staff day to day.
- Operational and strategic management duties in support of the security, health & safety and maintenance, premises and grounds of the site.
- Providing Line management support to the staff in the IT Team
What you will need:
- Basic D.I.Y. skills and able to carry out minor repairs to buildings and equipment
- Experience of Building Regulations and guidelines in detail, and others e.g. H&S, Child protection, etc
- Experience of being solely responsible for facilities and staff in an operational setting
- Experience of organising new or refurbishment building work or repairs
- Be flexible and able to work outside of normal hours, and be on call for emergencies
- Experience of working in facilities management would be advantageous. In addition, the postholder will have, or be willing to work towards, IOSH Managing Safety; NEBOSH; Midas qualification.
- A full driving licence is required.
