Purchasing Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our sales team, working in a fast paced environment. This role will serve as a point of contact for suppliers and also provide sales support for the Sales Team, following the process from raising and placing Purchase Orders through to Receipt of orders. The qualities required in this role are reliable, hard-working, attention to detail, accuracy, good communicator.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer/supplier phone calls and/or emails
  • Processing of purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Data Entry into Sage ERP / MS Excel
  • Monitoring product lead times to ensure delivery expectations are met
  • Co-ordinate between 'Goods In' and Suppliers over delivery issues
  • Process supplier returns
  • Researching of potential vendors
  • Comparing and evaluating Supplier orders
  • Generating and maintaining purchasing and sales reports
  • Assist with general adhoc duties to aid the smooth running of the department and business
  • Participate in Teams calls when required
  • Communicate supplier feedback
  • Accurately record and store meeting notes

What you will need:

  • Purchase and Sales Admin / Support experience
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Customer service experience
  • MS Office - Word and Excel
  • Able to multi-task
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Sage 50 or Sage 200 knowledge preferable
