Ivy Resource Group are recruiting for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-quality new build housing developments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable residential developer on a permanent basis, with projects based across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
The Company
Our client is a well-established housebuilder known for delivering energy-efficient, thoughtfully designed homes. With a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, they are continuing to grow and are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual elements of multiple new build housing projects, from initial procurement through to final account. You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
Cost reporting and budget control
Contract administration (JCT)
Site visits and liaison with operational teams
Supporting project delivery from a commercial perspective
About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within new build housing
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and cost control
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects
Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred
Full UK driving licence
