Full Time Science Teacher (Temporary)
Start Date: September 1st 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Gloucester, covering a long-term sickness absence. This full-time role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining continuity for students during this period.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the science curriculum and promote cross-curricular links
- Implement and uphold the school's policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach to temporary teaching
