About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Science Teacher to support a Stroud based secondary school immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various year groups.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Mark students' work and provide timely feedback.
  • Organise and participate in parents' evenings and other school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching science at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
