Job Description:
We arecurrently looking for SEN expereince teachers who are looking for a new oppertunity in September 2024. This teacing role can be in KS1 or KS2 supporting a small class of children with special educational needs. Within the classroom you will also have the support from a number of teaching assistants.
This role is a long term role starting in September 2024.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work within an inclusive, diverse and supportive environment and will put your professional expertise to use in exercising tailored educational plans for each student, to support them in their academic, social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons based around different childrens needs and ability.
- Provide feedback to parents, the school and the agency at the end of the day.
- Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work alongside the teaching assistant teams within the classroom
Requirements:
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
- Experience working as a teacher within a SEN school or working with SEN pupils
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
- A valid right to work in the UK
