Ivy Resource Group are currently recruiting to hire a Site Supervisor to join the permanent construction division for one of our clients based in Oxford.

Vacancy Details:
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Site Supervisor. Working as part of a small team reporting directly in to the Contracts Manager, the site supervisor will provide outstanding levels of customer service whilst carrying out all required activities. They will be fully qualified in the handling and removal of asbestos materials as well as having experience of strip-outs and small demotion works.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend site and carry out asbestos removal works, asbestos sampling and hazardous waste collections - along with other projects confirmed in line with our services.
- Supervise workers, subcontractors, and work activities.
- Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefings and Tool Box talks.
- Assess and manage safety hazards.
- Ensure appropriate site rules are in place and adhered to.
- Carry out regular inspections and work equipment safety checks.
- Co-ordinate deliveries of materials, plant and equipment.
- Complete records, RAMs and site reports.
- Attend site management meetings and H&S site briefings.
Qualifications/Experience
- Current ARCA or UKATA supervisor training - essential
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar position including Asbestos & Strip Out works
- Asbestos Medical - essential
- RPE Face Fit certs - essential
- Full Driving License - essential
- CSCS Card - essential
- P402 - desirable
- Demolition and Construction experience - desirable
Salary:
£36,000 - £38,000 per annum + Company van with fuel cardDetails:
- 20 days holiday plus bank holiday
- 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
- Flexibility on weekend working
- On-site parking
- Company van with fuel card
