We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified English Teacher to join a GOOD rated Malvern based Secondary School. This is a temporary position commencing in September 2024 and concluding in January 2025.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in delivering the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum with a track record of student engagement and academic success.
- Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the promotion of literacy across the curriculum.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons.
- Assessing and recording students' progress and providing feedback.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and integrate best practices.
