Start Date: April 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join a secondary school on a full‑time temporary basis from April until the end of the academic year. This position is well suited to a committed teacher who can deliver high‑quality Sociology teaching, support student progress, and ensure continuity for learners throughout the remainder of the academic year.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who can take on full teaching responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Sociology lessons

  • Marking, assessment, and reporting

  • Contributing to the wider department and supporting pupil progress

  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Sociology in a UK school setting

  • Confident managing a full timetable and maintaining high standards

  • Bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and strong subject knowledge
